FINANCIAL ANALYST/STAFF ACCOUNTANT – USA

Education - Degree in Accounting or Finance
Languages – Spanish/Italian will be beneficial

JOB SUMMARY AND SCOPE
The Financial Analyst/Staff Accountant will join FIMER branch in the US with the aim to support the local Finance Team in managing all the financial and reporting activities for the country.

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Perform monthly closing activities; including prepare & enter journal entries, GL account reconciliations, etc.
  • Produce weekly & monthly corporate and local financial reports 
  • Assist with AR (collections, remittance processing and customer follow-up) and AP (accruals, payment processing and vendor follow-up)
  • Interaction with accounting firm for sales tax reporting
  • Provide analytical, forecasting, reporting and project support to management
  • Monitor cost and identify opportunities for performance improvement across the organization
  • Miscellaneous operational functions in lean environment
  • Interact, support and monitor financial aspects of all departments, working cross-functionally with Sales, Purchasing, Service and Project Management

REQUIRED PROFILE
MUST HAVE

  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field; 
  • 5 - 7 years of relevant experience in corporate finance, financial planning and analysis or other related fields
  • Strong Excel working knowledge  

NICE TO HAVE
•    Tax and exchange currency  
•    SAP experience
